One more thing.....
One of my favourite restaurants in the world is Haret Jdoudna - both for the atmosphere/setting and the food. Haret Jdoudna is in a wonderful little town called Madaba...a friend of mine and I spent many a happy day off having lunch at Haret Jdoudna and then shopping for carpets (for which Madaba is rightly famous!).
My ideal two days off in Jordan...lunch in Madaba, a quick visit to Mount Nebo for a bit of peace, tranquility and the most amazing view......followed by dropping down to the Dead Sea for sundowners and overnight at the Movenpick.....wonderful.....life just doesn't get that good....some pictures below.....

Sunset over the Dead Sea...the patchy looking things on the surface are clusters of salt.
