I can never get my head around these actions. Maybe us westerners just have a greater respect for life (in most cases). I could not imagine having to kill MY sisters...Itis wrong on so many levels. Hang the nastards I y or stab them to death like they did their sister..How can this be condoned in the Khoran (sp?)

I'm reminded of Sir Charles Napier, Commander-in-Chief of India in the mid-19th century. When negotiating with local chieftans concerning the practice of suttee, he said:

"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."

It never ceases to amaze the depths that people can sink to. To kill your own flesh and blood over who they fall in love with, how base a creature can you be?

Well, I do not really imagine this is likely to work.
