Virtual bookshelves...

I have a new toy...

Placed in the links on the right..a new way in which to bring some order into my reading life.

Sent to me by the kind people at anobii to try out...who obviously felt I was so disorganised when it came to tracking my reading that I needed some assitance...

Please bear with me whilst I set it up and generally get my books organised!

Update:
Thanks Mia....yet again, in a public place I mess up my right and left!!!

You are reading "The Game" what to see hwo men do it, or to be able to detect it when it is happening?

As a guide it didn;t tell me anything I didn't already know...and is quite redeming in that the protaginist realsies that honesty and accepting that it isn;t a game are ultimately what is important.

In all honesty the book was totally different to what I was expecting. I am a chronic book collecter...I am always terrified that I will run out of reading material at some stage and so 'squirrel' books away in preparation of such an emergency.

I picked up 'The Game' on one of these 'squirreling' trips and thought it looked amusing...I soon realised that there was nothing amusing about the book and it was just a rather bizarre way of going about life...

Exactly, it wasn;t really a "how to" book rather a look at a sub-culture of men that exists/existed in LA and NY...

An interesting read, funny in parts, and even has some quotable sections...but hardly the book you would pick up to educate yourself about the topic.

I find it hard that this group of men spent so much time and effort in studying and perfecting a rather peculiar art...almost as if they are trying to crack the 'reason for being'....when in all honesty women are not that complicated...
