I'd bloody go....

I think the latest ad campaign from the Australian Tourist board is great, the added storm in a teacup about the use of 'bloody hell' will add to people's interest in the ad as well.

I'd go...but then I'd go anywhere given half the chance!

It is a really strange phrase for the British censors to take umbrage at...I mean "bloody hell" is almost polite, dare I say "posh" langauge in most English Pubs.

Indy: No its not. It's swearing. And not language that should be used in front of young children.
I love Australia, and am very very fond of quite a few Australians but I understand why the advert has been censored and I agree with them.

I am an Aussie, and I swear far too much. I don't have a problem with the bloddy, but that it makes us look very ockerish, and I cringe at that. Let the fabulous scenery do the talking.

It certainlly stirred up the media down here; fair bit of pommy bashing.

The thing that got me was the Government got so worked up about it they sent a Governement Minister to the UK to plead the case. pleeeeaaaaase

Why do we vote these drongos in.l
