Valentine's Greetings...

Valentine's Day here in the Philippines is far more OTT than anything I have experienced elsewhere....the constant greetings of "Happy Valentine's Day" in shops and restaurants in quite irritating....but one worse...is the abbreviation of the Happy Valentine's greeting (I have noticed that Filipinos like to abbreviate things!)....many times on Tuesday I was greeted with "Happy VD".....now I can't speak from experience but I have heard that there is nothing remotely happy about VD!!!
