I cannot believe that yet again, the Hajj claims hundreds of lives.

Madame Chiang said...: I realise that the Hajj is a rite of passage almost, I also realise that the Saudi govt. gives each Muslim country a quota of how many can attend each year....however, I still think it is too many people moving around in such a short space of time and in such a (relatively) small area....

There has to be a safer way to carry out the Hajj...it is now almost guaranteed that there will be some form of tragedy...the only unknown is the number of pilgrims affected...

It scares me that the take on these events in the Muslim world is "Insh'allah"...; 1:57 pm
