If I had my way Hong Kong would still be a colony.....for that matter so would the Philippines too!
Let me guess...the Philippines would still be an American colony...and Hong Kong would have gone to the Americans after WW2 as the British feared the Americans wanted??!!!!
No Hong Kong is too classy to be American. Better to leave it British and let us poor Americans have it as a tourist destination.....
