Chaz and Millie

Well the day seemed to pass of well and everyone seemed very happy - HM included.

I thought that Millie's outfits were great, very suitable and the dress she wore for the blessing was beautiful...

Most amusing moment of the day........seeing all the Royals pile into the coaches and be taken from the Chapel up to the reception! Princess Anne definetly seemed to be amused.

Glad to see that they stuck with traditional English 'Fayre' for the reception...the menu was described by Antony Worrall Thompson as very 'blue rinse'

The menu was as follows:

Sandwiches
Egg and cress on granary bread (v)
Smoked salmon on brown bread
Roast venison with Balmoral redcurrant and port jelly on white bread

Open Sandwiches
Roast venison with Balmoral redcurrant jelly
Potted shrimp bridge rolls

Hot Canapes
Mini Cornish pasties
Mini vegetarian pasties (v)
Diced grilled vegetable tartlet with Parmesan (v)

Miniature Pastries
Caramel banana slice
Strawberry tartlets
Glazed mocha fudge
Caramelised lemon tarts
Plain scones with Cornish clotted cream and Duchy strawberry jam
Double-boiled fruit cake (Mrs Richardson's Welsh fruit cake)
Miniature ice-cream cornets
