After my induction to All Saint's Day 'Philippine style' last year, nothing really shocked me this time around...although this notice in the paper the other day did raise one of my eyebrows a half a millimetre...


does that mean that after 2nd November I can take my karaoke system up to the local cemetery and indulge in a bit of binge drinking and knife throwing...?

It was with a certain ghoulish interest that I perused today's papers...looking for ghastly events from yesterday....but nothing really seemed to jump out and grab me...the cemeteries all seemed fairly 'peaceful' and calm....

and in other news....

The boy did good....P300k in cash, P100k in jewellery and the wife....am interested in what the police would charge the wife with, if/when 'it could be proven that she indeed is now living in with the suspect'.

Having seen the Cebu Convention Centre two weekends ago, nothing save Divine intervention could have it finished by its due date of 15th November, whether they finish it in time for the Asean summit remains to be seen... shades of the final flourishes of construction for the HKCEC.
